From Hume City Council website
Hume City Council is currently undertaking a Cycling Facility Feasibility Study to consider the potential community need for the development of an off-road cycling facility (including a Criterium circuit) in Hume City.
A cycling criterium is a bike race held on a short closed course (road or a purpose built track) usually for a set period of time plus a number of laps. Criterium facilities can also be used for a range of other activities including learn to ride programs, cycling training, running and human powered vehicles (HPV).
Criterium cycling is the focus of this Study, but Council is also interested to find out the community’s interest in and need for other cycling facilities to inform long term planning work.
As part of the Feasibility Study a survey is being conducted. If you or someone you know has some interest or involvement in cycling we’d like to hear from you. Your comments will contribute to this investigation.
If you wish to take part please complete this survey online at:http://surveys.hume.vic.gov.au/s3/HumeCycling. If you wish to do a written survey please complete it and return this copy using one of the methods listed at the end of the survey.
Please complete by Wednesday 19 December 2012.
