Centre for Sustainable Regional Communities (Australia)

The Centre for Sustainable Regional Communities (CSRC) was established by La Trobe University in 1998 to support regional and rural communities in the face of economic, environmental and social challenges. The Centre was a key partner in the development of the Cycle Tourism Resource Kit for Regional Communities.

Founded in 1973 Adventure Cycling is the largest bicycle travel organisation in North America with 44,500 members nationwide. The organisation provides maps, tours, touring resources, a magazine and lobbies for the ongoing development of the US Bicycle Route System.

Rail Trails Australia

Rail Trails Australia is a not-for-profit organisation which works for the development and promotion of a rail trail network Australia-wide. The organisation has published guidebooks for rail trails in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania which promote the concept of rail trails and facilitate their use.
